2012 ANVIL Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla Valley

Our ANVIL 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon from the Walla Walla Valley shows beautiful sweet red cherries, hints of lush red plums and soft chalky tannins (Minnick Hills). Full-bodied with a complex blend of earth and spice mixed with tart red fruit (Pepper Bridge). This wine has toasty caramel from the new oak accompanying wild blackberries, cigar box, dark chocolate hints, and solid tannins for a long, aromatic finish.

2013 ANVIL Cabernet Sauvignon Dionysus

Old vine Cabernet Sauvignon has become the remarkable flagship variety of Dionysus Vineyard. In 2008, we started sourcing Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from block 12 and later on experimented with Petit Verdot from Block 11 which adds generous flavors and great texture. This wine is rich, full, creamy, and intense, with aromas of black pepper, violets, black currants, and dried herbs, followed by flavors of spice, cayenne pepper, dark chocolate, dried fruit, red cherry, and cobbler.
