2018 Forgeron Cabernet Sauvignon, Walla Walla Valley
This Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from two of Walla Walla Valley’s best vineyards, Seven Hills and Minnick Hills. Each vineyard is located at opposite ends of the Valley, providing a potpourri of style components that add beautiful complexity to this classic wine. Our Walla Walla Cabernet Sauvignon has been produced since 2001.
Tasting notes
Our Cabernet Sauvignon displays a regal deep purple hue in the glass. As you sip, this wine expands with deep, rich aromas of black cherry, anise, and dark chocolate. The robust profile is everlasting with a Bordeaux feel. Black currant, pepper, and dark cherry are only a few flavors of many expressed in this wine. We would recommend a pairing of Prime Rib on a cool evening for this wine.

"Seven Hills Vineyard fruit makes up 58% of this wine, with the rest coming from Minnick. It's been aged two years in French oak (35% new), and the aromas are pleasing in notes of flowers, black cherry, barrel spice and bittersweet chocolate. There's a sleekness and freshness to the flavors, with plenty of structure around it all." S.S.

Aromas of dried herbs, anise and blackcurrants. Full-bodied with chewy tannins. Fresh and juicy palate with a powdery finish. Drink now.
