The Chardonnay at Forgeron Cellars has been one of our flagship wines, and as the years go by we have grown to love every vineyard we have pulled Chardonnay grapes from. This Weinbau Vineyard Chardonnay is unlike most in Washington as it comes from one of the oldest blocks of Chardonnay planted in Washington State. We are so happy to bring you this 100%. Our Weinbau Vineyard Chardonnay displays refreshing ripe peach and crisp pear. The combination of gentle oak influence and the slight stainless-steel use provide balance and produce a wine true to the varietal character of Washington State Chardonnay. In the glass, the hint of oak is balanced by nice lemon zest and tropical fruit notes. The fruit really shows its beauty on the palate with flavors of fresh lime and vanilla to keep you enthralled with each sip.
