Orange Muscat owes its name to the strong aroma of oranges and a taste of orange blossoms and apricots present in the finished wine. The aromas are prominent even in the vineyards; while walking through the Crawford Vineyard you can always tell which vines are Orange Muscat not only from the sweet aroma, but the size of the grape cluster. Some of the largest berries come off of these clusters. Orange Muscat is also one of the few grape varieties that produces wine that also tastes like the grape itself.
A luxurious golden orange hue, this delight exudes aromas of pineapple, orange zest, and heady jasmine. As you sip your palate is regaled with lively acidity and luscious notes of citrus marmalade and crisp green apple. Perfect to sip on its own or an ideal complement to crème brûlée or peach cobbler.
