Cabernet Sauvignon from Dionysus Vineyard is truly exquisite, from the dense dark red fruit flavors  to the touch of brightness from the Petit Verdot. A full mouth-feel and long finish adds to the delicious  complexity of the wine. This wine is and will always be a favorite of the Anvil by Forgeron lineup and it will age gracefully through the years, so hold on to it for that special occasion. A perfect pairing for a dish of pan-roasted duck with wild mushrooms.

Old vines produce this supple and sensual Cabernet. Classic in its elegance, this wine is approachable now but built to age. Our Cabernet Sauvignon is always lush, rich and complex. While sometimes a blend, often times a single varietal, it is always the optimal expression of that vintage and always from the most sought-after and reputable vineyards in Washington State.

From the beautiful Boushey Vineyard this is our third vintage of 100% Grenache wine. The Boushey Vineyard has been one of our favorite sites to grow with over the last two decades. Grenache is one of those varietals is exceptional when shown by itself, displaying a full and fresh profile. We have enjoyed the brightness this wine brings to our line-up. Initial aromatics offer an inviting perception of sweet dark fruit jam. On the palate, a delicate citrusy note emerges, accompanied by a pronounced presence of Tulare cherry that commands attention. A graceful balance between oak influence and ripe, juicy fruit complements the medium body and acidity that carries through to a mouth-watering finish.
